Mechelen, Belgium – December 29, 2019 – Jessica Springsteen (USA) and Volage du Val Henry were victorious in the €25,000 KBC Bank & Verzekering Prize CSI 5* yesterday during the Jumping Mechelen CSI 5*-W/2*.

The American and the 10-year-old chestnut Selle Français mare (Quidam de Revel x Cassini) were lightning fast in the jump-off, overcoming all the 1.50m obstacles for no penalties before crossing the finish line in 34.18 seconds.

Niels Bruynseels (BEL) and and Kopernic van Orti (Diamant de Semilly x Lord Z) gave the eventual winners a run for their money, earning silver honors by being only one-tenth of a second slower.

Thibeau Spits (BEL) and Classic Touch DH (Casall x Corrado I) completed the podium backed by a clean scorecard and a time of 35.50 seconds during the tiebreaker.
