Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – October 27, 2019 – Holly Smith (GBR) and Denver won the €50,200 Crédito Agrícola Grand Prix CSI 3* yesterday during the Vilamoura Champions Tour CSI 3* at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre.

The Brit and the 11-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Memphis x Chico’s Boy) were dominant in the 1.50m jump-off challenge, clearing all the obstacles for no penalties throughout their two performances, completing the second one in 34.57 seconds for the victory.

Harry Marshall (IRL) and Flambeau (Carambole x Casimir) were the closest ones, finishing second due to their final time of 36.36 seconds in the tiebreaker.

James Smith (GBR) and Simply Splendid rounded out the top three backed by two clean efforts, timed in 36.81 seconds at the end of their second performance.
