Emanuele Gaudiano & Carlotta Cruise to Another Win at the Morroco Royal Tour CSI 4*-W

Tétouan, Morocco – October 4, 2019 – Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) and Carlotta 232 flew supreme in the €25,000 Qualifier (Group B) yesterday for the World Cup Grand Prix CSI 4*-W during the second day of the first leg of the Morocco Royal Tour in Tétouan, Morocco.

Initially, the duo were up against 125 other entries in the 1.45m speed challenge, so it was decided that the class would be divided into two groups. Known as one of the fastest combinations in the world and having accounted for 63 FEI-level wins together, they were up to their old tricks again.

This time, Gaudiano (ITA) and the 10-year-old Oldenburg mare (Chaccomo x Cento) teamed up for a penalty-free run all the way to the end of Iuliano Vezzani‘s (ITA) course, leaving dust the rest of the contests in the 1.45m challenge by crossing the finish line in 66.28 seconds.

Andrzej Oplatek (POL) and Stalando 2 (Stakkatol x Lando) were the closes ones, finishing over four seconds behind, completing their performance in 66.28 seconds.

Anthony Bourquard (SUI) honored the Swiss tradition of having good results at the event, securing the third spot on the podium by guiding Janus VB (Namelus R x Darco) flawlessly in 67.42 seconds.
