La Baule, France – May 14, 2019 – Held from 16 to 19 May 2019 at the François André stadium, the Jumping International de France – La Baule CSIO 5* launches, each year, the outdoor jumping season in France. In 2019, its will also open the  Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ CSIO 5* circuit with the 1st leg of the European n°1 Division.

About twenty nations on the start list, 300 horses, 68 top riders in the CSIO 5* of France, 50 amateur riders in the CSI 1*, 16 international classes, 681,000 euros of prize money in total, 40 000 spectators expected…here is a taste of what is to come in this new edition in Loire- Atlantique.

Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of France: Friday 17 May 2019, 02.00pm
Mythical, legendary, unique… one has lost count of the terms used to talk about a Longines FEI Nations Cup™. With 14 legs in 2018, and one per country, the Nations Cup, named « Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ » since 2018, is a top level and extremely rare class.
Followed by 6 million TV viewers, about 235 000 internet users on streaming, and relayed by 1000 press and web papers in the entire world last year, the Nations Cup of La Baule will bring together 8 teams riding their top horses; all of them seeking precious points in order to qualify for the world final in Barcelona in September.
Rescheduled on Friday in La Baule, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of France sets the pace from the outset for the rest of the week end.

Derby of the Pays de la Loire Region: Saturday 18 May 2019, 01.30 pm
Only Derby held within a CSIO5*, this class will bring face to face some of the top level stars over a course combining natural fences (water jump, mounds, barriers…) and traditional fences. Strong emotions and show guaranteed!

Grand Prix Longines of the city of La Baule: Sunday 19 May 2019, 01.00 pm
The Grand Prix Longines of the city of La Baule is the dream of every rider. Reserved to 50 of the best riders of the CSIO5* of France, many riders have registered their names on the record of this class, qualifier this year for the European championship (Rotterdam, 19 to 25 August).
