Martin Fuchs (SUI) and Cristo won the CHF $30,000 Dach Holzech GmbH Prize CSI 5* yesterday during the Longines CSI Basel 5*-W in Switzerland.

Fuchs and the 12-year-old bay Oldenburg gelding (Cristo x Stakkato) cruised to a clear penalty-free run in 57.52 seconds for the victory in the 1.45m speed challenge.

The Swiss was early in the lead, but had to tremble for victory for a long time. Olivier Robert (FRA) came closest to him on Vangog du Mas Garnier (Windows vh Costersveld x Quidam de Revel), finishing second one-tenth of a second slower.

Roger-Yves Bost (FRA) and Castleforbes Talitha (Cardenio x Baloubet Du Rouet) rounded out the top three with no penalties and a time of 58.03 seconds.
