Shane Breen (IRL) and Can Ya Makan got the Z 7 team back on their winning ways at home again, claiming the €25,000 Meadow Court Stud sponsored Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 4* yesterday during the Al Shira’aa International Horse Show CSI 4* at Al Forsan Equestrian Club in Abu Dhabi, The United Arab Emirates.

The Irishman and the 13-year-old Holsteiner stallion (Canturo x Fara) topped the rest of the field by overcoming all the 1.45m obstacles on the course, crossing the finish line flawlewssly in 37.11 seconds during the tiebreaker.

Philipp Weishaupt (GER) and Belo Horizonte (Baloubet du Rouet x Clearway) earned silver honors, the only difference being their final time of 38.05 seconds.

Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) and Que Bueno de Hus Z (Que Guapo x Canto) completed the podium with no penalties, stopping the jump-off timers in 38.77 seconds.
