Michael Pender (IRL) and HHS Burnchurch won the €25,000 Grand Prix CSI 2* last Sunday during the Sevilla Horse Tour (SHOT) in Carmona, Spain.

The Irishman and the 8-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding (China Cavalier x Cavalier Royale) secured the victory in the jump-off by overcoming all the 1.45m obstacles along their two performances, stopping the timers in 40.16 seconds during the decisive phase.

Mariano Martinez Bastida (ESP) and Quicksilver were the runners-up, the only difference being their final time of 41.09 seconds.

Sofie Slattery (IRL) and Valentine du Bois Pinchet also registered two penalty-free performances, earning bronze honors in 43.02 seconds.
