Chloe Aston (GBR) and Amigo T €25,350 crossed the finish line to take definite lead of the €25,350 speed class CSI 3* yesterday during the Vilamoura Champions Tour at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre in Quarteira, Faro, Portugal.
The Brit and the 13-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Padinus x Achill/Libero H) triumphed by overcoming all the 1.45m obstacles on the course, crossing the finish line with no penalties in 58.64 seconds.
Martin Fuchs (SUI) and Dubai du Bois Pinchet (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Andiamo) were the runners-up, matching the winners’ penalty-free run in 59.12 seconds.
João Victor Castro (BRA) and Sir Landal Joter (Singular Joter x Landabel) secured the third spot on the podium backed by a flawless effort in 59.54 seconds.
