Joseph Clayton (GBR) & Carolus K Dhi won the Gold 3 jump-off class yesterday during Spring MET Tour IV at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva Nova, Spain.
The Brit and the 11-year-old dark bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Indoctro x Gran Corrado) claimed the victory by leaving all the 1.45m poles on their cups and crossing the finish line in 37.70 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Pedro Veniss (BRA) & Daisy Du Gran Moustier (Quaser de L’Ile x Fidji du Fleury) also posted two penalty-free runs, the second one in 39.77 seconds for silver honors.
Jorge Juarez Blasco (ESP) & U Watch (President x Nabab de Reve) were the only other combination with a double clear, going through the timers in 42.58 seconds at the end of their jump-off performance.
