The French rider and the 15-year-old chestnut Selle Français mare (Joyeux Ardent x Laudanum) took the lead for good in the decisive phase after clearing all the 1.45m fences and going through the timers in 34.16 seconds.

Patrice Delaveau (FRA) & Vestale de Mazure HDC (Landor S x Quidam de Revel) also registered two penalty-free rounds, completing the second one in 34.90 seconds.

Aldrick Cheronnet (FRA) & Atlantys by Wisbecq (Argentinus x Darco) completed the all-French “trifecta” with no penalties and a jump-off time of 35 seconds flat.
