Fredrik Jönsson (SWE) & Cold Play won the €40,200 Tio Pepe Grand Prix CSI 3* yesterday during the Sunshine Tour CSI 3* in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain.

The Swede and the 10-year-old bay Oldenburg gelding (Contendro x Argentinus) overcame all the 1.50m maximum-height obstacles set on the course designed by Uliano Vezzani, completing the jump-off track in 40.73 seconds for the victory.
Taylor Alexander (USA) & Ryanair De Riverland (Quick Star x Papillon Rouge) matched the Swede’s double clear, finishing second just two-tenths of a second slower.
Marie Valdar Longem (NOR) & Benito (Valentino x Voltaire) were not much further back, leaving all the poles up twice, the second time in 41.99 seconds for bronze honors.
