Malin Baryard-Johnsson (SWE) & H&M Second Chance were the winners of the Hooks sponsored two-phase class last week during the Gothenburg Horse Show (GHS) CSI 5*-W in Sweden.
The Swede and the 10-year-old grey Swedish Warmblood mare (Carland x White Clover) advanced to and completed the second part of the 1.45m challenge with a time of 22.56 seconds for the victory.
It was a 1-2 for the home nation as Peder Fredricson (SWE) & H&M Carat desire (Carinjo x Latus II) matched the winners’ clean performances throughout the two phases, securing second place with a final time of 23.19 seconds.
Third place was claimed by Steve Guerdat (SUI) & Albfuehren’s Happiness (Heartbeat x Lambrusco Ask) with no penalties, stopping the timers in 23.75 second at the end of the second part of the contest.
